How do you prevent your IP address from ending up on spam lists?

In regards to cPanel we set restricts for each package, which limits the user to the amount of emails they can send per hour, if the user upgrades to a new cPanel package then there able send more emails per hour however they are still restricted.

My advise for beginners in the industry would be to run blacklist checks on your servers regularly and post migration as in a recent migrated to a new provider we fell victim too this and our IP addresses is blacklist on UCEPROTECTL3.

Most email providers don't check UCEPROTECTL3 however its not ideal to be on any blacklist.

We were advised by the provider not to pay for delisted and to leave it, I did question the provider in this case.

What's your experience been with IP Addresses reputation?
