HostingDiscussion Contest Information

Thank you Artashes! You (and the other guys) managed to keep this a secret from me. You're so sneaky. I'm joking of course. :)
Well, to be perfectly honest, you were a runner-up winner in the first period, but since no one really fully qualified in the second period (for # of posts), I thought why not say a late thank you to you for the job extremely well done in the first one. (If that makes sense.)

After all, as the contest rules say, it is the quality that counts, not quantity.

We have two new winners!

The staff of HostingDiscussion.com selected the two members who qualified and won the Lexar 32 flash memory device in the ongoing "HD Backs You Up!" contest.

BIG CONGRATULATIONS TO:

Xcel_Hosting and nocturnalhostin

Both users will be personally contacted and items shipped to them.

We are still to have one more winner in the coming weeks!

Congrats again! You guys deserved it by showing your involvement, helping members and contributing to forum discussions.

On behalf of all HD staffers.

Thanks!!! I'm so glad to be apart of HD. This is definately a great place, and I have learned a lot as well. I appreciate the opportunity to openly share and communicate with other members of the hosting industry. Looking forward to continuing the fun!

I just wanted to add my thanks as well (would have done so sooner, but just noticed this thread). The contest is greatly appreciated - but the fact that this community/site is here is even more appreciated. What the moderators/operators are providing for individuals is nothing less than an invaluable service (espically for those who are trying to learn the basics of web hosting).

In fact, the only thing I dislike is that I spend so much time on your site now that my fiancee isn't to happy, hehe.

Ladies and gents,

We have our fifth and last winner of the HD Back You Up! contest: Equinox

Equinox started off his HD experience with a slight mistake, but he quickly repositioned himself and has become a valuable asset of this community. Equinox has been actively participating in discussions and adding information where it was most needed.

Congratulations Equinox. We hope you keep up the good experience you've brought so far and continue to contribute to important issues as you've been doing up to this day.

Best,
HD Team

Equinox is also the last winner of our contest. It is now officially closed.

Wow, thanks very much HD staff and members. Very much appreciated.
Thanks to everyone at HD who has made the experience I (and many other members) have had so far, as great as it is!

Keep up the good work guys...
~Equinox

Ok, I know its been a while, but that package that I've been eagerly awaiting has FINALLY arrived! I'm really grateful to HD and Artashes. Its a really cool little thing to have around and is especially helpful for things like...erm...reinstalling an SP2 compatible Novell client to EVERY computer on a nearby universities campus (all like 200 of them!)...

Thanks again everyone!
Regards,
~Equinox

They are handy devices. When I was at QuakeCon down in Texas this past August I bought a 128MB pen drive. Got back to the event and found one sitting at my PC - only it was a 256MB pen drive. Asked all the guys at the tables surrounding me and none of 'em had one/lost theirs - so I figure someone up there loves me :)

I use mine to hold all my ExonNet files, they don't fill all 256MB on that pen drive so I put some music on it that I need at work and take it to put on my office PC.

Congrats Equinox!

Wow, Ben, that took them a while to deliver it, but then you live half the world away... :D
I suggest to move closer to Canada taking into account future contests will be even better.

I put the Lexar Jumpdrive to use a few times to share some files with my friends. Pretty cool device. It comes in very handy. Thank you again Art! :)
