I am really going to try and make it this year, it seems it always comes around during something major in my life. Getting married, having kids - should time these things better.

I am Trying desparately to make it this year . Even I miss out everytime it happens

I am really hoping for this year or next at the very latest. I have been trying the past few years and something always ends up going on to where I miss it. A friend really wants me going to Defcon and I told her I am well past that stage in life and would rather see Hosting Con instead but she could meet me there.

Well you need to give us some more details than you get to go back again when myself and others have seemed to miss it afew times already. Anythings we should see for sure or avoid to reduce the chances of a headache?

Link shows it as July 28-30 in Chicago.

I'd love to go but its just not feasible that far away. We've passed on other conventions we really should go to based on cost so this one will have to be skipped too for now. Maybe it it comes closer.
