Hi,

We are window shopping around for a helpdesk system & have been hearing good things about www.acehelpdesk.com . Anyone in here had any experience with them or are currently using them ? . Please do let me know , So it will make the decision easier for us

Okay, who ever these guys are, they're crooks and ripped their product from InverseFlow's software solution.

Look at their website - specifically at http://www.acehelpdesk.com/customertestimonials.htm

Then look at this website:

Notice anything different - probably not because it's the same product. ;-)

I haven't used acehelpdesk, so I can't comment on it, but I will also recommend Cerberus Helpdesk.

This was discussed quite a bit on WebHostingTalk. The original author claims his code was stolen and there has been a battle ever since. I would stay far away until it's resolved.

As has been mentioned, Cerberus is an excellent and powerful product. It not only looks very professional, but they offer a free version if you only have one support email address.

I have used both cerberus and clientexec.
Both are good in their own way - clientexec is a combined billing/support tool, whereas cerberus is just for support.
OTOH, cerberus is very powerful as a support tool, clientexec less so...
