HelpDesk CMS: what is the best?

Talk.to is a great free system to chat with clients. Their service includes live chat, ticket system and you can do email piping. I have been using them for a couple years now and have no complaints. It can also be integrated in WHMCS
 
We actually use whmcs as the ticket support system. It provides easy to read tickets, allowing you to transfer tickets to other departments, put tickets on hold or pending, etc. We been using whmcs for over 15 years now and it is great. You do not even need to provide webhosting if you don't and still use that ticket system.
