Help, Oh Please Help This Newbie Find The Right Host

MySQL

I have just found that as you get more into having a website that it is bst to have unlimited MySQL Databases. Also make sure that they are back up at least once per week and that you have the option to back them up everytime you make a change.

i didn't want to give you a biased dopinion but I did a lot of research and have created a sitte based on my findings at www.hosting-choices.nosugarcoating.info

Hi S2S,

Getting the different scripts to play together nicely often requires changing the program code, or modifying the database. Then, every time you upgrade one (or all) of the scripts, you may have to re-do these modifications. If the scripts already work with each other - and you'd need to research the individual scripts to see if they are already integrated - that takes a load off of your shoulders.

One of the reasons to ask for multiple databases might be so that you can install multiple scripts. It's possible to use one database to run multiple scripts, but *only* if you know that there won't be any conflicts (ie, you know that the two scripts won't create database tables with the same name and accidentally overwrite each other). You also have to watch for database size, integrity, and manageability. Databases take up disk space - which can be counted as part of your disk space quota.

Tes i Agree with that

Plus when you do have this problem it is nice when the hostibng providor offers either live phone support or at least support via live chat.
