Help me choosing between 5 hosting companies

HostGator is the only one I'm familiar with, but have never used their service. They seem to have quite a good reputation and my guess is that they do a fairly good job considering that they are a very large hosting company.
 
I think all mentioned will be ok, I had experience with hostgater many years ago, can't say they was bad, the server was always up. I had a massive site on their servers (12gb), due to the amount of nodes used, they didn't allow any back-ups of the site to be done, so.. all the space they offer it is actually very hard to fillup........
 
What it comes down to is doing research on your own. Big host, means tons of clients, some advertise 500,000 means crappy support. I would look for smaller hosts, personally test their support. Is the support located in the US? They will tell you yes, but watch how the structure their sentences, most big companies outsource to India. Smaller companies offer support out of the same building that the admin's and servers are actually located! Good Luck!
 
Don't have experiences with the listed hosting sites but i highly recommend

bluehost and godaddy


as they have proven themselves the best in terms of uptime and superb support.

Its not possible to say one is best. There are many hosts that can satisfy these needs. The one you get satisfied is the best for you, because 'the best' differs from one to another.
