Help a noob please

I noticed that other posters also promoted their services, but did not get banned or have their post removed. My intent is not to have that happen, but to understand where you draw the line. Is it ok as long as you are discreet about it? I did not see the above removed post so I have nothing to compare the other to.

The rules are in place for everyone without exception. While we try to look through every single post, we might miss a few.
