Happy New Year everyone.

I hope you all have a safe and enjoyable one ... and that 2005 is a better year for us all :)

Remember ... don't drink and drive :)

Take care

Guys, can't stay here for long, gotta run to the airport meet my girlfriend and then paartyyyyyy....

HAPPY NEW YEAR MY DEAR FRIENDS!

  :flowers:

Happy new year!

Going to go upstairs and continue the celebration. But first, the heat must be turned up! Then I'm planning on making some tacos, eating some chips, and opening a bottle of some rum my dad brought back from his cruise.

Enjoy your evenings!

I'm wondering. When do you stop wishing people a Happy New Year? When is the cutoff? End of January?

(I found myself saying HNY yesterday to someone I hadn't seen since last year, and he looked at me a bit funny) :(

Vito

I'd say as far as "Happy New Year" goes - cutoff is Jan. 3rd. After that, no more HNY, from then on it's "Have a good year".... :-p

Heh, as I was reading the last 2 posts here, I just received an email from a customer. Guess what the first 3 words were?

Yep.

"Happy New Year".

Well., some people might just love the holiday. I still have my Christmas tree standing all dressed up... :crazy2:

Heh, that's a bit extreme, Artashes. :crazy2:

Do you also leave the Xmas exterior lights up all year long?

...and accidentally turn them on on a sizzling hot July evening?...

Actually I do in the basement (too lazy to take them down). I don't turn them on though, so there. :D

Actually, I have an idea for a new product specifically targetted to the lazy bums like you. I just have to get off my rear and patent the idea, and then approach some manufacturer to sell the rights. :D

Vito

Hehe, sorry, Artashes. I can't reveal the idea in a public forum.

When I get rich 'n' famous from it, you'll know. ;)

Vito

I considered creating retractable lights lol for that very reason.

On topic though, I think it's appropriate to stop the HNY thing on the 3rd at the least.

However, if your client says it to you, then by all means say it back. lol

Don't you dare! I need to patent the idea first!!! :smash:

I must say that I'm surprised to read the replies in this thread. So many people that I encounter say it throughout January.
