Good deal or too good?

My friend is looking for a host and turned up this:

The prices and the features seem very good, and I want to know if you think it is a good deal, or whether it may almost be too good to be true.

That bandwidth-to-monthly-cost catches my attention. That seems like extreme overselling - or really really cheap bandwidth.

He won't want to hear this, but your friend should be safe with any plan whose monthly-cost-to-bandwidth ratio falls between $.50 and $1.50 (before any discounts for prepayments). The feature set leads me to believe that they offer cPanel, so your friend should be able to find plenty of other hosts who offer this feature set.

Yeah, that is deffinatly too good to be true, or its Cogent or something like that... wouldn't recommend it.. but its your money I guess..

Oh man if that isn't over selling which I doubt it isn't, I will have to look into getting some of their services, I could fit one of my servers on there

It sounds like overselling to me. Overselling can cause problems on the server which means downtime so it's not a good idea to signup with that host.
