Free Web Hosting?

I think you must just Google your way through and check out different hosting companies which provide the service free of cost. For me there is no one as the best free web host as they all are there with a definite motive so you need to chose accordingly IMO.

Not always. Some offer rebates from a valid premium host to make the host free for a year. This is something we do and have had success in.

Try <<MOD NOTE: Self-promotion is not allowed.>>. After 6-8 weeks, you'll have free hosting after you receive your rebate.
 
Yes, some paid hosts also offers free hosting for branding purposes. Its rare but still available and you get a better service with such deals.

if you are looking for windows web hosting, take a look at <<MOD NOTE: Self-promotion isn't allowed.>> for my needs that was best solution that I ever find, and costs $0 what is the best :)

I would recommend either x10hosting (x10hosting.com) or leadhoster (leadhoster.com). I have had positive experiences with both of them in the past, and both offer a great deal of functionality (POP3 email, PHP, MySQL and more). In addition to this, x10 offers 10GB of bandwidth (leadhoster is 6GB), more than enough for most sites that cannot afford web hosting. Lastly, both sites offer Ad free hosting, so the only ads on your site are your own.

not all free hosts put limitations on there services..i certainally dont and no a few others that dont..and i certainally dont oversell either...i dont think its fair to catagorise all free hosts the same..my advice is have a look for yourself.look at a few options and companies.see what you think..then decide..:)

I agree too with ArtyCrow... Only if you have an unimportant site you should go for a free web hosting. Free solutions usually they fail.

You could find some good deal for free hosting in freewebspace.net forum too, however I would suggest to go for paid hosting, its hardly cost you few dollars.
