I think more important issues now is equipped yourself with relevant web hosting knowledge and technical skills. Because you are the first person who your clients with deal with you with the hosting account issues such as installation of software upgrading.
Be the way, which platform of web hosting business you planned to start off with? Windows hosting / Linux hosting? Shared / Reseller hosting?
 
I've contacted some people asking questions and all of that changed my mine. I just recently opened up a new company and going to get it LLC registered. Im going to offer cheap shared hosting.

spamming is one of the big issue in internet business, even using full security features and anti spam technices I got spam messages in my email boxes,, beaware guys..
 
People would rather pay some modest fee than utilize free web hosting features. It's just not too practical and functional. Yeah, cheap shared hosting is a way to go instead! Good luck on your hosting endeavors!
