First Month is a success

Blue is trying to save you hardship, loss of income, time, and hurt feelings. He's protecting the unsuspecting customer and at the same time yourself. What if one of your clients was a very large, very powerful company? What if they then turned around and sued you personally because your ethics caused instability and unreliability in their services/website? These are things you need to consider before launching a site and saying that you will just fix the problems later. And lies are problems, they are not just "things that you guys think need to be fixed."

Blue, I'm sorry for the confusion. Dubs, also known as "Chris W." is just a new addition to my hosting company and expirience. I myself, started in late 2003, as it states. Dubs, is just a new partner with me. Together, this is our first month. I'm not sure how deceiving the "late 2003" is to the customers. That is to say, that the statement is true. Again, sorry for the confusion, and I hope you forgive us for the unclear information placed on our website. Though you may believe it is unfair to the customers, it is still undecided on wether or not it will remain.

Now, the other things that you were "complaining" about, are just rediculous. I am the Cheif Executive Officer of my company, and will remain. Secondly, our "large" partership is also no lie. Though you might not find any "records" on a search engine, does not mean anything. If you refer to Alexa.com, our website is ranked 1,700,000 which is decent. Frankly, I can call our partnership large, or whatever I want.

Edit: The website has been edited to prevent from misconception. Thank you for your caring.

Regards,
Michael

Do you have any clue what a CEO is? Are you a registered business? If so, where are you registered? Are you a corporation or a limited partnership? You do know of course that the CEO of a company reports to the Chairman of the Board. You do have a Chairman of the Board don't you?

There is nothing ambiguous at all about lying on a website.
What hosting experience do you have. What sites can you name that you were hosting for free in 2003-2004?

This forum has many professional hosts who are regular contributors. If you think you are going to some here and try to pull the wool over our eyes you are sadly mistaken.

I came to this forum to post and help people out, and maybe get a little help myelf. I didn't come in here to put the "wool over your eyes". I started this thread and you turned it into a fight. It is none of your business anyway what we do with our business. You work on your Hampshire Hosting, and well work on ours.

You run a public business, and you posted on a public forum. That makes it everyones business.
I run an honest business and I don't feel the need to lie to people to try to generate customers. When scam artists and liars think they can run a hosting company, it is the business and the responsibility of ever ethical host to expose it and to keep integrity in the industry.

Scam artists?? Whered you come up with that one

What term would you use for someone who delibrately misleads people and puts false information on a website to get business?
And then comes back and says it OK because it seems to be working?

What would you call them?

How are we misleading people? The only mistake we made on the site was that it should be 2004, not 2003. Besides, no one cares about that anyways, it doesn't make a difference. CEO means Chief Executive Officer. CEO doesn't mean you HAVE to present info. to the board, it can be whatever you want it to be.

Actually quite a few people care about what year your business started in. Ask the IRS if they'd care whether or not you reported for year 2004 or 2003 taxes. I'm sure they'd care.

If CEO is not doing a good job, who, other than the board of directors, is powerful enough to fire him? Do you have the board of directors?

Best,

Please just close this. I nor Dubs will respond to anymore non-sense. You can just argue amongst yourselves. Enjoy.

I'm sure it will be closed, but it won't be forgotten.
What you consider to be nonsense potential clients may consider to be very important indeed.
Good luck.
