I don't see any reason that either Google or Microsoft will sell any part of their companies to EIG. So far EIG is targeting web hosting and domain registration company.

Neither of those companies would ever dream of selling to EIG. Plus, Google is doing the same thing as EIG and buying a ton of companies let and right.

EIG can't afford Google nor Microsoft.

Interesting, I met Directi's VP a few years ago at HostingCon. Nice guy. I wonder what this means for their (Reseller Club) recent venture with iNet to host conferences in ShangHai and other places...

The bad news is that many clients are going to be affected and will suffer under EIG. Soon we will say many complains on forums as usual.
