Dynamic images with forum stats?

Anyone know how to make the dynamic images which have the statistics for a forum?
The text on the image updates when the stats of the forum changes.
I would like to do one for HT to show the forum stats in a sig image
 
I think I know what you mean.. I will try and help you after school.. if I know what you mean, I have something that will work :)
