Domain Age?

The domain age is also is considered as determining factor if your site has more authority than other sites. This could also mean that you can do massive promotion of your site without alerting google compared with new ones.

SEO is a bit complicated. And I think until now, no one can exactly explain the algorithm about SEO with Google.

Hello,

Thing about the quality of the service, rather than the domain name age. For me service quality is more important.

Domain age ?

Hello,

It has been seen that as your domain name gets older, its chances of achieving higher ranking in search engine increases. The domain name that's very new to the Google search engine might be blocked from getting high ranking which is known as sandbox effect. This sentence would give the notion that if you are launching a new domain than you are less likely to get good ranking for sometime. Thus it might de-motivate many webmasters who might think its futile to try to get higher rank in Google.

But this is not true, as the domain age has nothing to do with the ranking they achieve is less time or more time. It depends upon the link profile and the manner in which it is developed. However old sites have more link profile than newly launched one, for instance site that is 2 years old has larger link profile than those who became online recently.

Thanks

I don't think age of domain matters but I am sure that backlinks can matter so just concentrate on building backlinks rather than domain age.

Hello,

You just need to do

Domains can be registered but never applied for a long time
new domains can be used for extremely conventional companies (with the old domain 301-redirecting to the new one); a domain name can be used for unlawful purposes for years and then sold to a “good” person/ company without any change of the preliminary registration date.
