Does Anyone Post Good Reviews?

Personally when analyzing a company, I like to look for the bad reviews first (because those always seem to be more genuine), especially when dealing with a company that is not as popular. It also give you a good reading on how a company handles negative situations (which to me is very important).

I share positive reviews when a company deserves them (obviously). But you're often quicker motivated to write a bad review, since you feel you've been screwed over and want to get back at someone for it. Hence you see more negative than positive reviews.

You can ask your customers if you feel they are happy enough to write somekind of reviews for you. Just point out where you want them.

I got a positive one. I have been using iPage for over a year now (1 year and 6 days) and I really like all of their services. I have a total of 4 sites with them. It is only good for small sits that don't have more then a few thousand visitors a day. It cost about 10 bucks a month to get unlimited pages, which I have for 2 of my sites because their advertised plan only lets you have 6 pages if you don't upgrade.

For what it costs, there are plenty enough features for a personal web hosting experience. I have had good server response times and one of my sites is about 180 pages. My favorite thing about it is the site builder you get. It is very flexible and gives me anything I need. It has upgrades that are fairly inexpensive (2$/month) for implementing their e-commerce feature.

I don't know what else I can think of about these guys. Oh, they have solid customer support. I had to call about uploading some .exe files and also putting in a canonical redirect and was helped by an English speaking person every time. They knew what they were doing and was able to help every time.

In my experience, servers at iPage were slow and unreliable. The same was true of their twin host, Fatcow.
