Customer Service in Web Hosting Companies

Of course free Web Hosting companies are going to have very lazy and useless customer service. Like most people have stated depending on what paid host you go with will have better or the same customer service. You should email different companies to see what their hours of customer service is and also look in the advertising section.

This issues very simple..:D

For PAID hosting - 1st priority support all issues will be resolve within 1 - 24 hours

For FREE Hosting - 2nd priority support but it's depend on workload at current time..at least FREE Hosting also can request the support but maybe mean time to restore a bit longer..:D

It really depends on the company you are going to go with, but generally yes paid hosts should provide you with 24/7 speedy support. Be sure to do your due diligence and search for reviews of the company before signing up. :)

Remember you get what you pay for, if you do not take care of your customers you eventually will not have any. If you are not paying for your hosting do not be surprised if you do not get any kind of service.

Customer Service is an important aspect in today's competitive environment, and keeping this in mind most of the hosting provider offer 24x7 free support for their customers. The level of support surely will differ from company to company.

Now, this may be a big generalization, but I've come to find that with most free hosts I've tried, customer service is either very little or nonexistant. While I haven't needed to contact customer service for too many issues, I find it to be a very important aspect as to whether I choose that host or not.

Do paid hosting companies contain better customer service representatives or are some just the same as free hosts- slow, lazy, and at times, a bit rude?

Yeah customer services is a vital part for any successful hosting, especially considering that some of the clients might be newbies in hosting business and may want technical guidance and support.

You may not always get the service you DO pay for but you will always get the service you do not pay for...

A hamburger at a good restaraunt that provides service will always cost more than McDonald's.

I always go by the saying "you get what you pay for"

Paid host better have better customer service as thats what you paying for.

You get what you pay for in any industry. If you are truly getting free hosting I would be content if someone answered the phone. Find a host that charge even a little bit of money and your customer service experience will be that much better.

Paid host's support should not be like free service offering company at all. And as "you get what you pay for", so you get better and professional support with paid hosting companies.

Agreed, it is usually "you get what you pay for." But still be critical of paid hosting before signing up. Make sure that their customer support team provides reliable service and test if you can reach them at odd hours when they say they are available 24/7.

When you're expecting anything from anything that's free, regardless of what it is, you're doing it wrong. Simple as that.

You wouldn't drive around in a new car that's given away for free by the factory, now would you?

There is no doubt that you do get better service when you pay for it., that is a part of the price when you buy hosting. Unfortunately not all companies deliver the amount of service you could expect when you have bought paid hosting.

If you choose free hosting you might need quite some patience with your questions and maybe even use google to get your answers.
