As I said, not the type you think, a legit application.

There are plenty of toolbars and applications that are "legit" that also install malware without your knowledge and permission.

What "type" are you referring to? :uhh:

Yes, always try not to install toolbars with the applications, only the ones you need.

I had issues again but hope they are fixed. I looked at my browser settings. My digicam software put a proxy in there, so I got rid of that. Also my router set my computer's IP address to the same one the router had, so that created some issues. I changed it to start with a different number: so far so good.
