ClientExec!!!

Sounds good that it appears to keep records of those who have paid by cash, but I am also thinking about the fact of keeping record of:
1. Invoices sent out for upcoming billing cycle.
2. Sending out invoices for upcoming billing cycle
3. Sending out invoices for overdue payments (yeah you know those types)
Any thoughts? I lke to keep a hardcopy of the invoices as well, but having something that sends out an email to notify of upcoming and \or overdue payments can be beneficial to what I need to do.
Thanks,
Bones

I forgot to mention that I would also like to know if I can install ClientExec on a home system instead of on a serverthat can be accessed over the web.
Obviously I would have this behind firewall etc etc, but was wondering if this can be done.
Thanks,
Bones

sure if you have all the correct software etc.. but it wont have all the bells and whisles etc.. usualy home cable and dsl wont allow you to send out mail etc.. they might have a hard time loggin in if the firewall ain't setup correctly etc...

best of luck on it

Good question, maybe they should have a version that is stricly a contact manager that works on the client side.

Oooo ClientExec CRM. Integration with your online billing system. Maybe also some QuickBooks-like traditional accounting tools? Alberto can you hear us? :) I'd buy it if reasonably priced.

Naturally I would like a share of the profits for contributing to the business development of such a product mwuahahahaha:p

I have been able to successfully send and receive email using my mx records fr my domain with no problem, well Ok minor hiccup but my isp then gave me instructions on how to set it up, and smooth sailing from then on.
Why I mention the option of being able to use it locally is because Ibelieve that if you purchase the product or are planning to you need to give them a domain name, and am not sure if the domain name has anything to do with the registered product i.e. my.com will result in a serial number generated for that domain, and when I install I configure it to use that domain for such and such ip etc etc..
Time will tell.
Thanks for the input fellas :)

ask them for a license for the domain name "localhost" with no extension and see what happens ;)

and keep an eye out for that commission check, the people developing plugins for nothing just to add functionality are waiting too :) Seriously, the CE community is awesome and definitely likes to see (and action) great suggestions/needs they get.

We have had a lot of success because of ClientExec. We recently started offering it to resellers and they seem to be VERY happy with it. We currently use Modernbill as it works with Plesk for Windows as well and unfortunately no other billing software does at the moment but we will say ClientExec has it going on!
