beware of this SCAM semi-dedicated servers $1

I come across this on WHT and though to mention it here

Hi guys, I was scanning around a forum where I saw a thread, in which the user was offering a $0.99 VPS,

the plans were mentioned here, and the site is
ultracheap.eu
ultracheap.eu/images/plans.png

Do you think that such websites are legit? I mean .. I have just googled about the user, he has offered same services on various forums.

It is next to impossible to offer such rates, but it is sad that people are jumping into the trap

according to whois records the site is hosted by NetArt a Polish eu registrar and hosting provider though how come a provider providers vps as cheap as 0.99$ can't host his sites on his own servers plus he use liberty reserve only as a payment gateway which doesn't support any refund policy it's impossible to be true and its very clear this is not legal provider be aware

thats why i posted this on here so that others are aware of this and it is not just VPS for 0.99$ but also semi-dedicated servers for 0.99$

Thanks for posting it here. Everything about the offer, especially the price screams scam to me. I wouldn't let myself and people I know fall into such a trap.

I do not think its just the price that shys me off but the quick access to finding it plastered all over the net, serious give away there. While it is sad to see people fall for this type of thing you gotta remember, how many scammers are "born each minute" online?

Have any of you actually used the service?
Someone makes a post on a forum and questions the legitimacy of the offer.
Another, in this case easyhostmedia, goes to another forum, in this case HostingDiscussion, and starts a defamatory thread titled "Beware of this scam....."

That is a borderline defamation/slander case. It is also extremely unprofessional to post such a thing without any first hand knowledge.

You may think you are doing the community a service but you are not.
If you want to be the advertising police then sign up for the offer and determine if they are fulfilling their TOS. Otherwise I see not benefit in this type of thread.

Some would say jealousy and fear of competition.

could anyone legitimatly provide

US Semi-Dedi Server
Windows 2003 available for FREE!!!

1 GB RAM
Intel Xeon 2.27 GHz CPU
50 GB HDD
Unlimited Inbound Transfer!
110 GB Outbound Transfer

they dont have an order form it just goes direct to a liberty reserve payment page, but to order a VPS etc. they would need order details

No need

Have you tried the service or not?

No need to try it's not logic at all to have such cheap semi-dedicated or vps servers beside it's impossible to have legal windows license for free go ahead if you want to be scammed and try them and remember that Liberty Reserve does not support any chargeback whatever the amount is

So you think it would be OK if I started posting on forums that YOUR service is a scam, even if I have never tried them?

Perhaps I will. You offer UNLIMITED service. Unlimited bandwidth and unlimited disk space.
That is a lie.
Should I go and post your scam on other forums calling you out as a liar without ever trying your service?

My god. What IRONY that someone who offers unlimited resources should question the offers or another company.

well as they only have a method to take your money using a payment provider that does not support refunds or chargebacks and no method for you to signup for any of their items, along with their price structure etc. this crys 100% as a scam

No. You are claiming it is a scam.
You have no experience with this company.
You are UNETHICAL in your approach to this.
Perhaps you are new to all of this but its not so long ago in the hosting world when people didnt trust providers that only offered Paypal.

try and order a service with them, they just offer LR for payments which you are directed to for the payment, but their is nothing on their site to allow you to actually order any service.

I have been in the web hosting business since 1999 and can smell a scam.

To clarify

We do operate different brands and not all of them offer Unlimited resources however AnixHost is one of our brands which is offering such issue we've been in business since 2005 and we have so many customers we always played the behind the scenes game and now we are going out with new strategy.

I think EASYHOSTMEDIA know our brand name "Grand Hosting" as he is the owner of TopHostingUK Company also.

Besides many other companies such as HostGator, HostPapa, WebHostingPad, FusionHost.com (as we are the owner of FusionHost.eu) BlueHost & many other large providers do provider unlimited resources hosting even Godaddy does that. It's not a lie but it's technical and marketing strategy as you know.

After all of that saying that this company is a scam because of evidence that 100% proof that. If you have good experience in IT, Computer & Hosting business and technology you can easily understand what I mean and you will directly figure-out that this is really a scam because of the evidence provided and not because we like to say so or we feel so.

Take it easy 1 + 1 =2 and life goes on ;)

not sure what you mean by that. yes we have Tophosting UK Ltd registered, but this is dormant as we registered this to make sure we got a well know scammer closed down just search tophosting uk on WHT and you will find all the evidence of this scammer.

we were one of those he scammed

Yes I know that very well and I know David Buik is the scammer who made terrible problems specially this brand "TopHostingUK" it was running by Martyn and had good reviews until David destroyed everything.

We are the one who bought their server Hera and we have emailed all his clients under the brand "Grand Hosting" www.grandhosting.biz and you have posted that in your community site. Just a remark GrandHosting is now undergoing re-innovation for this we are providing our service only for existing customers new orders are not allowed for time being.

yes we were the ones who helped Martyn set up his servers to be fully dolphin enabled along with RMS.

we had a plan with Martyn, just for RMS and paid £30 semi annual and were quite happy. if Martyne stated he was selling up we would of taken it over, but we just paid our next payment on invoice (before due date) when support started to be answered by david then problems started and we lost the £30 and then he started abusing us, so registed the ltd company and forced him to stop using the name tophosting UK, but abuse continued.

are they serious that they are offering a VPS in 0.99$ I mean how can they afford them self..?? :D

well thats what they are saying the servers are 0.99$ and allow you to make a payment of 0.99$ through liberty reserve, but do not provide you an actual means to place an order
