Intel is good, but amd is catching up especially with the 16 core processors, 6000+ series.

Quote we have a few opteron based server and until now they worked very nicely, The only downside is the giver energy consumption but usually its compensated by higher density as with 8-16 core you can house more user, Intel is stil begin cheep on cpu core count, Surely intel do offer (if i down remember wrong) a 20 core processor but that cost a pile of cash to buy.

- 4X 3TB HDD with LSI-9271 4i + BBU
- SSD caching to boost the performance
- 10Gbps Uplink Port for each VPS node

The performance is awesome, and all of our customers are satisfied with it. I suggested to everyone who is going to provide VPS service to take this as a reference.
