it was developed to help with some WHMCS features, but never really worked and he had many complaints about this, but never replied and then suddenly vanished, not refunding anyone, then about 18 months later he appeared back on the WHMCS forum as if nothing happend pushing his new site Siteautobackup.
I have tried Siteautobackup, but dont like it and their support is rubbish. its just as good getting another cpanel account or server and creating your own remote backups
