Are you cPanel dependent?

For every bit of market share cPanel loses, they simply regain the revenue with annual pricing increases.

In the end, they have fewer users to provide support to, while making the same amount of revenue.

For them, it's a win-win situation.

That is so true, if I compare a server with 500 accounts with old and new pricing(not so new now) its at least 5x more money for them, yes they lost a big number of old clients but with growing web hosting needs every year I am not sure if their number of active clients are less then before.

Fact is cPanel is the number 1 control panel used and has been for many years and still is, yes they may have lost a few clients, but they would have gained clients.
their price structure is no different to what Plesk have done for years
