Are you able to answer this question?

How many bandwidth providers are there available in the world ?

Tricky question but this should be fun to hear everyone get a reply 😛arty:

This may be the best question ever asked 🙂

[ANMMark]

Well, I would imagine that there truly aren't many.

It takes quite a bit of money to be a root bandwidth provider. You're basically looking at phone companies and cable companies.

Taking that into consideration, I'm willing to bet there aren't as many as you may think.

A few that come to mind:
- Verizon
- AT&T
- Qwest
- Atlantic Broadband

Keep in mind that these also cover secondary company brand names...
- Verizon is also Bell, Bell South, Bell Pacific, Bell Atlantic
- Qwest is also Touch America

This is a very good start hopefully others will follow and post their responses as well.

Thank you Mark
