They are absolutely great. Cool cheap prices too.
Plus they are backed up by a company called UnifiedNames which really makes them a great company and hopefully means they'll stay open for a long long time.
Places charge how much they want. I used to charge $25 a year for a .com, .net, .org and all others - yet I only did to make a huge profit since I didn't give a control panel, I actually changed DNS, edited this and that, etc.
Plus to cover my losses, since I'd offer all domains - even ones costing me $30+ a year - I'd offer all for a low $25 a year, so I could cover my losses on the ones I paid $30+ a year for. This was a great deal for me since I'd often get the better end of the stick and get more money since more people would by the ones that only cost me $10 a year - but hey, it was still managed so $25 a year is worth it.
GoDaddy.com charges about $6 if you buy it for a long time and its one of the leaders in the domain name industry with outstanding customer service and satisfaction.
GoDaddy doesn't have as good a name as RegisterFly. GoDaddy may be "cheap" but there are a lot of bad things spreading about them, which isn't good at all.

I would not agree. They have refunded be three times (some were amounts over $100) even though it was my mistake in ordering something I didn't want. Accidently though.
Their index of customer satisfaction could be only leveled with a company like amazon.com, which btw set the all-time retailer industry index (both online and offline!!) of customer satisfaction this year. They beat their own record from previous year, too.
<< The best registrar I have used so far is Enom. >>
I'd have to "agree" there since RegisterFly is a reseller of eNom.

Yeah they are. I prefer going with RegisterFly though, since although they are a reseller of eNom - with them you get a lot more, and a better API I think. But it all depends per person.
<< When I would accidently register a domain with all the available extensions.. heheh :crazy2: >>
I see nothing wrong with Godaddy. I have many domains registered with them and have never had a problem.
The majority of negative remarks you hear about Godaddy have nothing to to with domain registration, it's their hosting service that leaves something to be desired.
I've got a couple of domains registered at goDaddy and haven't had any trouble. I just registered a few at ev1servers.net because they're having a 5bux+ tax /domain special so it only costs like $5.41 including tax. Don't know about their support or reputation or anything tho - I'm a poor college student so I just went with it LOL.
