I never really figured out what the beauty is (and by beauty I mean "value") of 2/3-character domain name selling?

I see some auctions go faster than regular domains.. What could possibly be the use of a domain like "L7Y.com"??

Help the uneducated learn the secrets of such trades.. hehe
