with all huge providers like godaddy, softlayer, hostgator, network solutions they can't guarantee 100% uptime though there's something called SLA contract as getting credits when server are down. As a conclusion server guarantee might reach 99% uptime & 100% is impossible

100% is not possible at all. Something is bound to go wrong..which is why you usually see 99.99% up time. Its all a marketing campaign..
