Nutanix sharpens sovereign cloud push as enterprises seek control beyond VMware

Nutanix has expanded its cloud platform to support distributed sovereign clouds, targeting organizations that need strict data control across on-prem, dark sites, and multiple clouds. New on-prem management, ransomware detection, and multicloud snapshotting features aim to let customers enforce local security rules while operating globally. The updates also introduce deeper visibility into AI workloads, including model usage and cost tracking.
