Nectar Services Corp. just pushed a new version of its DXP observability platform, and it tackles a question that has plagued contact center managers running on Genesys Cloud for years: when a call goes badly, did the agent cause it, did the customer cause it, or did the cloud platform itself glitch?
The update digs deeper into Genesys Cloud environments specifically, surfacing queue performance, agent responsiveness, and how close teams are running to capacity. The more interesting part is what the platform does with that cloud data once it collects it. Operational alarms and customer experience metrics used to live in separate silos. Now a manager can trace a frustrated customer or a stalled agent straight back to whatever was happening on the cloud platform at that exact moment.
“Organizations want more than just visibility into customer experience,” said Pedram Feshareki, Nectar’s VP of Product Development. “They want to understand the operational factors driving those experiences and how they impact business outcomes.”
The update also fixes one of the more annoying parts of troubleshooting cloud-based contact centers: intermittent issues that vanish before anyone can investigate them properly. Nectar’s diagnostic logs now capture data continuously in the background, so teams already have the data waiting instead of having to reproduce a glitch that may not show up again for days or weeks.
Separately, Nectar moved its Model Context Protocol Server framework from alpha to beta. The framework gives AI applications a structured way to pull insights out of messy, complicated cloud contact center environments, which matters more as companies hand troubleshooting work to AI tools instead of relying purely on human agents and supervisors.
This is not a dramatic announcement, and Nectar is not pretending otherwise. But anyone who has spent hours arguing over whether a bad customer call was the agent’s fault or the platform’s knows that a clear answer beats a guess. Less debate and more proof drive the quiet bet behind this release.
