Megaport acquires Latitude.sh to merge compute, networking for global AI expansion

Megaport will acquire Brazil-based Latitude.sh to combine its Network-as-a-Service platform with Latitude’s Compute-as-a-Service infrastructure. The deal creates a unified global system that delivers high-speed networking and on-demand GPU compute across 1,000+ data centers in 26 countries. CEO Michael Reid said the acquisition strengthens Megaport’s role in AI and hybrid cloud innovation, helping enterprises deploy, connect, and scale workloads more efficiently worldwide.
