Google commits $6.41 billion to boost Germany’s data center network

Google will invest $6.41 billion in Germany between 2026 and 2029 to expand its data center footprint and strengthen the country’s digital infrastructure. The company plans to build a new facility in Dietzenbach and enlarge its existing site in Hanau, both in Hesse. The project will create around 9,000 indirect jobs and support Germany’s push to modernize its economy and attract global tech investment.
