Google Cloud brings local cloud infrastructure to Bangkok

Google Cloud has launched a new Bangkok cloud region, giving Thai enterprises and public institutions local access to low-latency infrastructure while keeping sensitive data within national borders. The move responds to rising demand from regulated sectors such as banking and insurance, where performance, compliance with PDPA rules, and AI-ready infrastructure increasingly shape cloud adoption decisions across Thailand’s digital economy.
