Europe just built its own cloud; Evroc launches with data sovereignty at its core

Evroc, a Stockholm-based startup, has officially launched its sovereign cloud platform aimed at keeping European data in European hands. Designed for critical sectors like defense and healthcare, it plans to operate 10 hyperscale data centers by 2030. Its Stockholm flagship—fossil-free and AI-ready—will house up to 10,000 GPUs. The move marks a bold step toward digital autonomy as Europe pushes back against reliance on foreign cloud giants.
