e& UAE has quietly rolled out something a lot of government entities and businesses in the region have been looking for: secure website hosting that keeps their sites on local infrastructure with someone watching around the clock.
The service runs out of e& UAE’s own data centers and sits under the UAE Cyber Security Council. That last part matters, because it means the organizations signing on get more than just a hosting plan. They get a setup built around the kind of control that public-facing and business-critical websites actually need.
Two teams run in parallel behind the scenes. One tracks performance, uptime, and network health. The other keeps an eye on threats and vulnerabilities at all hours. The idea is simple: catch problems before they spiral, cut the time it takes to act when something does go wrong, and keep downtime from becoming the story.
Dr. Mohamed Hamad Al Kuwaiti, head of cyber security for the UAE government, said website availability, data protection and incident readiness now sit inside a broader question of cyber resilience. He said organizations should build security into their digital infrastructure from the start and keep clear oversight of their data and systems.
Abdulla Al Ahmed, chief government and VVIP relations officer at e& UAE, framed the service as a way to bring infrastructure, network operations and security operations into one environment rather than managing them separately. He said the goal is to reduce operational complexity for government entities and businesses while giving them room to scale as needs change.
On the technical side, the service includes firewalls, distributed denial-of-service protection and log monitoring as standard. Customers can add web application firewall protection, vulnerability assessments and security reporting for a more layered defense. Because hosting stays local, customers also gain lower latency and firmer control over where their data resides, along with flexible capacity as demand grows.
Service-level agreements spell out availability, support and incident response terms, giving customers a clear picture of what to expect and access to e& UAE‘s technical teams. The company positions the service for government bodies, enterprises and medium-sized businesses running high-traffic or business-critical sites, along with IT and cybersecurity teams looking for locally hosted infrastructure.
Organizations interested in the service can reach their e& UAE account manager or the company’s business website for a technical assessment or migration support.
