Anglian Water strikes £140M cloud deal

Anglian Water has committed £140 million to deploy up to 60,000 cloud-connected sewer monitoring devices, contracting Metasphere, Udlive, and Technolog to supply the systems. The project, running from 2025 with possible extension to 2031, aims to strengthen real-time monitoring and data visualization of sewer levels. The move follows a record fine last week for regulatory failures, highlighting a renewed focus on infrastructure oversight and digital resilience.
