Organizers of CloudFest Americas want cloud professionals to answer a survey before the event opens in Miami on Nov. 11. The responses will feed a session called The State of the Cloud 2026: What You’re Telling Us, and the show runs through Nov. 12.
The survey asks about challenges and opportunities across the industry, and the organizers say it takes only a few minutes. They also want answers that reflect the Americas. Working with OpenEye, they plan to put special focus on how the cloud looks from that region.
The regional lens is the most interesting part. A global survey can blur local differences, and the organizers appear to want to keep the Americas view visible. It does not say whether that means a separate breakdown, different questions or just more respondents from the region.
The session gets a two part description. Organizers describe it as an industry overview mixed with a check on how things really stand, and they say it will give many of the event’s later conversations a shared starting point. Because of that, the survey answers matter beyond one slot on the agenda.
The title promises to play back what respondents said, so the value depends on who answers and how many do. A survey run by a conference reaches the people the conference already reaches, so the results will reflect that audience more than the whole industry. Most conference polls share that limit, but it still affects how readers should treat the findings once they appear. The announcement does not say how many responses the organizers hope to collect or which questions it asks.
Publication is another open point. The graphic that accompanies the announcement carries WebPros branding and asks for help with a State of the Cloud industry report, yet the text describes only an onsite session. Nothing says whether a written report follows, or whether people who stay home will see the findings. Companies that track the Americas market but skip the trip will want to know.
Anyone planning to respond should look for a closing date on the organizers’ survey page, because the announcement gives none.
