Hello, I am new to the hosting stuff.
Can anyone place some tips or stuff that I should need to know?
I am currently running on this
3,000mb disk
30gb Band
Installation
WHM + Cpanel
10 acc.

Any tips?
For 5$ is that good?

Could you let us know what kind of tips you would prefer? Is it like how you will need to share the resources to customers and enable features for then ? Of course you can create packages ( custom) via your WHM, each package like basic , Basic-1 , Level-1 , etc etc. , each package having different feature list. Could you elaborate a bit further on your question ?

Please let us know what you are already familiar with, that will help with everyone in providing tips that can better benefit you. :)

Are you running any kind of billing system? I do not see that listed, that will help in automating your reseller hosting business and making management a lot easier. There are normally some free open source ones included in most linux hosting plans by a lot of providers, or if you have the budget which I recommend would be to take a look at ones like ClientExec, WHMCS,...which provide a lot more features.

Alot of hosting providers are offering free WHMCS with each package, but those are usually the hosts starting off at 20 bucks per month. If you want to go the free route with billing there is always phpcoin. But WHMCS is worth the investment as it comes fully integrated with a help desk, announcement section, and knowledgebase.

At 5$ you could have gotten much better specs.
but your specs aren't bad.
what Tips are you look for?
I,m sure the guys here a pretty generous.:agree:

I am thinking from the lack of info in the post, maybe the more the better? Are you only doing this part time or are you just feeling around to get an idea if this is something you want to pursue further?

Are you going to sell web hosting? If so, you'll want to make sure that your pricing will allow you to expand your services. Some providers choose to sell hosting plans for dirt cheap prices, and they end up failing because they cannot pay their bills.

The best advice I can give you is to not oversell. It can end up in a big mess and really isn't worth the hassle.

A $5 reseller hosting account is merely a budget shared hosting account with reseller hosting features. If we consider that scaling down is not linear, and comes with an overhead, he's getting a pretty decent deal, assuming the quality is there.

From most reputable hosts, a reseller account will run at about $15 - $30 per month (some including a billing system, and others including only the basics).

$5.00 is not enough for a Reseller Account, you might want to raise your budget. A good reseller account would be above $15.00, and thats not including a license for a good billing/support software.

If you really want to start selling web hosting raise your budget and do your research.

Many thanks for the information. Oversell is bad thing to do, imo.
