End of the user graphics card era?

Hey guys, I'd like to discuss with you and get your opinion regarding consumer graphics cards. Lately, I've been reading news more and more often about how chips are now being produced only for AI data centers, and because of this, the same 5090 card will simply run out in warehouses soon and it will be impossible to buy in store.

Also, graphics card prices have gone up very significantly, and a graphics card I bought 3-4 years ago for 1200 euros now costs 1600 euros second-hand. I certainly understand that AI has done the impossible and insanely raised prices on everything, but can it really be that we won't be able to upgrade not only personal PCs, but there will be nothing left for regular servers either?

  1. RAM - Got more expensive
  2. Graphics cards - Got more expensive
  3. SSD - Got more expensive
Except maybe processors got cheaper, but I feel like in the near future they'll jump in price too.

What are your thoughts on this and when do you think it will all end?

This will only get worse, my friend. To the point that AI companies themselves will struggle to get ahold of graphics cards - so they will manufacture them themselves and prices will continue to rise.
It's a hard time to be in...

Yes, I completely agree, but at the same time I still have hope for China, because they have recently started producing chips for the production of new NVMes, and if they enter the international market, there is a chance that prices will return to 2021 levels.

And if this happens, then they can safely start producing RAM, video cards, and so on.

In my opinion, now is the ideal time to start capturing the market of ordinary users, as Nvidia and AMD are more focused on AI than on ordinary users and conventional data centers. So whoever starts delivering replacements faster will get an incredible number of customers.
