Social network

I think I would ask you the same. Facebook works well for branding while Twitter not so much, but that depends on the website.

depends if you are in Europe as things look like they are going to change

Have tried both twitter and facebook, rarely have much luck. I have found better marketing avenues most of the clicks are junk.

I can't see them actually doing that, or if they will do it will be a brief thing that they will quickly turn around on.

It won't be down to Meta, if they can comply with EU laws then they will be forced to close.

They do need to look at their ad policies for one this, as I like many have set in out ad preference, not to receive ads, but every 2 posts are ads and a majority are Chinese scammers., so to comply with European regulations they need to make sure things like this work.

Is it worth promoting your reddit account?

I would say that it is worth promoting a social media account where you create relevant and useful content, that would be of interest to your customers / potential customers.

If you do that on Reddit, or Quora, or wherever else and the info you post there creates value then it's worth letting people know about it.

It all depends on which social media network your target demographic is utilizing. If they are spread throughout many platforms, it is only sensible to promote them across all of the necessary platforms, since this is the most cost-effective and efficient approach.

The ads we have run on Twitter and Instagram for our game host never really performed well either. Seems forums and partners are the way to go for getting new customers.

Social media ads as useless these days as too many scam adverts selling all sorts of things and report the ad as spam and it just appears later under a different user, so people just ignore them, also FB has an option in ad preferences for you to not receive ads in your timeline, but this is just ignored. i used to report these and leave feedback, now they remove the feedback option.

It really depends on your target audience, understanding them will give you a better insight into what social platform would be best for you. Personally, I find Facebook quite good.
