Hosting provider Vpsserver blocked us from hosting after a letter from another client who indicated that we are competitors. They did not listen to us, did not let us take the data, wrote off all the money from the accounts. Our letters were simply ignored for several months, and only after a few months they gave us the following answer: your account and site database have been deleted beyond recovery.
I would like to appeal to any company that is going to use this hosting provider – at any time, without explaining the reasons, you can be blocked from hosting and you will not even be able to take your data. It should be noted that our Ukrainian company was blocked simply by a letter from a Russian company.

Whenever I hear a review like this, this makes me wonder about what really happened, as I have hard time believing a player like VPSServer.com would take someone down without a cause or proper processing.

Their own takedown policy states:

Takedown is what happens when a user fails to pay on time, or requests VPSServer to eliminate all the available data on VPSServer’s storage. Manually terminating a VPS erases all data stored on it.

Account suspension does not mean a Takedown has taken place. Selected subscribers are given a standard grace period during which they can make the payment and continue using our services.

DISQUALIFICATION

A VPS is disqualified when one or more of the following scenarios occur:
  • When, for some reason, an account cannot be billed
  • When a VPS violates the content and hosting rules laid out in the Terms and Conditions
Disqualification may also occur when VPSServer or regulatory bodies identify issues related to account/official information shared by the user.

Given that you have not provided nearly enough information about your case, it's difficult to judge who is in the wrong.

I agree! I would imagine there was some foul play here.

Exactly. Without a complete understanding of what occurred, we cannot determine for certain who was at fault in this case.

It would be great if you could share the email screenshot which they have sent to you before closing your account. Let the community judge here…

I cannot see this being a reason for a VPS provider or any hosting provider as 9/10 any VPS/Dedicated Server providers will be renting their servers to competitors
