if you want to provide a VPS service them forget a datacentre if you want cheap.
you better off getting a entry level dedicated server and splitting it into VPS.

go with some like https://www.bigscoots.com/ who provide fully managed dedicated servers

Cheap and stable/reliable do not mix. You get what you pay for. However what price range are you looking at.

Depending on size of server (i.e 1U, 2U) and hardware requirements. This will determine the pricing of the server and service that you want to deploy.

If you are going to start the company then i would recommend reselling of vps.
If you have existing client base then go for a dedicated server.
If you have need of three or more dedicated server then you can go with colocation.

In colocation you need a upfront cost for buying the server and switch.

In some company you can rent the switch.

I can make a introduction to my vendor.

You need to choose a hosting provider who's datacenter is geographically close to your target audience. Also a host that is fairly close to you, since you'll be the one accessing the hosting the most.

Hi,
Selection of datacenter is most important factor that determined
1.location.
The first thing is which geography location your are going to serve. Then it should the gateway of network
ex: Amsterdam is network gate for Europe.
For USA its Newyork.
2.price
If your are going to start the price should be minimal.

3.connectivity
when connectivity comes in play you should thing about the redundancy.

4.remote hands cost and response time

There is no need to choose a host with the fastest ticket response time, but choose one who you feel you communicate well with.

It is a good idea to speak to web host's representative to make sure that you'll receive exactly what you need. Choose DataCenter close to the target location of your audience.
