Has anyone noticed that R1Soft.com has disappeared?

I wonder what's going on,

Our servers and backups are still runnning, so it appears that their licensing system is still up and running.

Have I missed a press release?

last tweet is Oct. 30th

Exciting news was shared at #ITNConnect19: ConnectWise and Continuum are joining forces. We’re excited to be part of the
@ConnectWise
family and
@TheITNation
!

and the same date on then FB page https://www.facebook.com/r1soft/

Thanks, Seems I did miss a press release.

Interesting; pulling the website seems a bit irresponsible.

I get my licenses through a broker (as they are cheaper than going direct).

I noticed about a week ago when I was going to query their knowledgebase.

licencecart etc. are still selling their licences, so their licence server must be still running.

could be a transition period or rebranding, but daft pulling their website

May be some issues with their website. Although you can contact your broker to know if there any such case. r1soft totally trusted brand and no doubt good backup provider.

Still does not stop a company from closing. The company that bought them out may have their own such software, so closing down R1soft or R1soft part of the business may not be making enough profit.

we will never know until they release some sort of statement

Well the services are up and running and I never had an issue, so I guess until I heear otherwise I'm ok.

(Made a note of their phone numbers now!!)

I do belt and braces DirectAdmin (dump and zip) backups anyway, but customers can use the R1Soft stuff without getting us involved, which is why we like it!
