Hey, i want to write a script that would benefit the hosting industry. Ofcourse this script will be free to an extent like a free and a paid version. so give me some ideas!

How about doing a script which is open source?
It seems that not a lot of people are contributing to the open source community with new scripts these days, I have done a few but none have been web languages, they are all app programs.

An invoice script which is easy to use and doesnt have a trillian things to do just to add one customer and get it all setup would be a nice thing

Open source is when the coding is made available to the public. An example would be Linux. You can modify the code of the operating system to make it work how you would like it to.

The advantage of open-source is that other people may branch onto your ideas and make it better.

The disadvantage is a lot of people make take your code edit it and release it as another name to take credit for it.
