Seems like Digg is on the way out -

I haven't been to Digg in forever, but it looks like it's trying to have a facebook-like appearance.

Sad to see an icon go, but it has been downhill for them the past few years. I think too many other places were able to capture what it was that Digg was trying to do, and integrate it with their own services.

Still, it'll survive, but go the same way that Altavista went - a once industry giant, that is now kept alive on a life support machine just so we don't have to say goodbye.
