Which Is Better Wordpress Or Drupal ?

Drupal is much more difficult to grasp than WordPress and it is also more difficult to build a website. The downside is that it can be more personalized and adapted to a specific work.

The key advantage of Drupal is a cache system that dramatically accelerates the integrated access to the most visited pages.
 
I prefer Wordpress for its fast installation, easy customization and more plugins and themes available.

Regarding caching, you can add a Wordpress caching plugin and get the same benefits as Drupal cache.
 
In every case (with any software), ultimate decision is based on personal liking and is the reason for the existence of varied softwares. There is no BEST...

However, since the thread ask for personal view, I like drupal. I am not a programmer but i do well with drupal. Yes wordpress interface and some features allows a person with just a basic installation knowledge to be up with his side and on the run but to be professional with wordpress.... Its a task.

With wordpress around, there is so much redundancy in the webstructure and design these days. It is so difficult to be different with wordpress, its difficult to standout among others.

On the other hand, sites using drupal are unique though lesser.
 
It really depends on what you are going to do with them. Usually, I hear that Drupal is a very good CMS, that can do multiple things.

However, the more I learn about WordPress, the more I want to do with it. WordPress is a very flexible CMS and with their community, you can do many things.
 
Another vote for Wordpress here. The learning curve isn't as steep for most people as it is with Drupal and with a growing library of themes, frameworks and plugins, you can pretty much do anything you need to.
 
Generally the rule of thumb (in my experience) is:

If it can be done in Wordpress, use Wordpress. ESPECIALLY when you're either not a developer or handing off the site after it's built out. There's no reason to reinvent the wheel, especially if you're not in the habit of rolling your own code.

Assuming you are a developer with a nigh-infinite amount of time to build all your own plugins and all, sure, go with Drupal. Otherwise... I'm sure you've got better things to do with your day.
 
I am a huge fan of wordpress, but I have been thinking about giving drupal a try. Just to see what it offers and how it compares to wp with ease of use, etc
 
At the end of the day you have to use the right tool for the job. Personally, I use Wordpress for a ton of stuff. Everything from mebership sites to one page business cards. Drupal can be a little cumbersome at first, but with anything, there's going to be a learning curve. Some of the ecommerce software that we use is integrated directly to Drupal so that makes things nice there.

From a client end of things, at least the majority of clients that we deal with, they prefer Wordpress as it's so similar to MS Word and easy to create posts & pages. Again, these are customers that are strictly looking at maintaining their site, not looking at design.
 
I am using wordpress from 3 yrs and it is really very easy.

You will find many plugins that will solve your all problems.

I would also go for WordPress. Ever since i have been using i did not feel the need to look for any other. Its fairly simple to install and use. And the host of plugins it offers are an added advantage.
