Which is best wordpress or joomla

hi gays,

i ask you about which is best for design a website wordpress or joomla but i see more people use wordpress and he use this..tell me

This would greatly depend on what you're trying to do. Both have their benefits and downfalls, however in general I would say Wordpress is more popular than Joomla.

I'd say neither is 'best', it just depends on what you want to accomplish. For a simple site or blog, i'd go with Wordpress. The documentation and user-friendliness of it is great.

For a more elaborate site, I would probably choose Joomla.

But it just depends on what you want to do ;)

Since this is not your first time greeting us this way, and while I understand English is not your first language, I'd like to point out something:

Definition of "guy": "A man: "he's a nice guy".
Definition of "gay": "A homosexual."

It should be "Hi guys" not "Hi gays".
 
Wordpress for blogging, period.

Joomla for content, and regular site layouts, as you'll find thousands of themes not to mention plugins. Suppose you can use Joomla for blogging, but Wordpress is ready out of the box, so why hassle.

They both are great applications. Every one prefer an application based on his/her experiences and technical expertise.
So, one should always select an application in which he/she has more expertise because with out knowledge, open source application can be a mess and even a danger for server security.
 
:) It was a funny mistake... I guess. I would vote for Joomla if it is about the create a standard business website, not an online post which requires blogging and frequently updates to be made from someone who's not tech savvy. However I must admit that WordPress is going good and is becoming more and more a sophisticated and comprehensive web publishing platform.
 
When we compare WP and Joomla or any other CMS, and ask for feedback, then mostly we just get different reviews on page and mostly people vote for the one they currently use.

Personally, I use WP, but have an experience in Joomla as well. The fact is there are positives and negatives about both of them so it is always better to choose one that feels comfortable for your needs.
 
Undoubtedly wordpress is one of the most preferred and popular amongst the two. This is because wordpress is one of the easiest for use systems available today in the internet. On the other hand joomla is one of the best content management systems for designers, web developers and administrators.
