Where is the best place to register a domain name?

Where do you think is the best place to register a domain?
I dont really mind where my domains are, as long as I can change my name servers and DNS info easily if needed then I dont mind.

There are a lot of sites doing domains very cheap now, what is the cheapest you have seen a .com and .net domain sell for?
 
For price right now Rackshack($5.41). For control eNom or more specifically eNom reseller like namecheap or others. You can find retail accounts for around $8.65 and Reseller accounts for $8.95.
 
I like 123reg.co.uk myself. I say I get good value from them, you can change the name servers and the rest. I say 123reg are good as they don't stop you to change stuff. Others make you pay less, not to allow you to change the DNS Info...

I currently do my domains from registrar Directi.

You can check them out at www.Directi.com.
I am at there lowest pricing slab, so i get domains at $ 6.49 :P

Check them out and if it solves your purpose, then by all means sign up with them.

And the end of the day, its you personal comfort level with the registrar which makes the difference, since the pricing of all them differs by a dollar here or there.

I personally like TOSDomains.net, they are really good, friendly interface, easy to do anything and you have no trouble finding what you are looking for.
 
Well I would definitely recommend www.GoDaddy.com simply because it has been out there for a long time now serving the online community and they also have very economical prices.
 
So far I have got domains from enom, ev1/rackshack, namecheap and godaddy.

Cheapest was rackshack which is doing the special offer but only got one domain there
 
John...since you are a EV1 Servers/Rackshack customer for domains...I was wondering if there is any twist to their offer or is it plain straight and simple :)

Think its $5.41 in total (including tax)

The domain management panel is VERY simple, would only use it if you only have to change the DNS, think you can also create name servers but thats abotu it

And cheap domainnames where you can use PayPal to buy it?
WIth full DNS control?
I'm planning to buy a domainname :)

yes I also use domain4life.com i like the control panel it easy.
 
I did not paid nothing. I know that when you login you see that you dont need to paid nothing at out & the reseller program is great I try it out today.
