Whazzup with Charlie Sheen

Sloooooooooooow day here ... is it Friday yet? :D

So what do you all think of this Charlie Sheen war of words and his interviews? I'm a big fan of Two and a Half Men, but YIPES, I think Charlie needs help BIG TIME.

I was JUST watching a 7-minute excerpt from his ABC interview!

I've always liked the guy but don't know what's going on with him really. Clearly he is not what a regular person would act like, but do I or anyone else have any proof? No. These are just all guesses.

ABC/Warner Brothers produce a show that revolves around a character that parties, sleeps in, has easy women etc etc.. then, they get pissed that the character has turned into real life. :)

It's a train wreck, but he's always been that way. I'm surprised he's remained on track for so long actually!

I wouldn't say he's delusional, but I don't think he's going to win the $360 million dollar lawsuit. He HAS however been showing up to the set, so I personally believe he should be paid for the work that he was prepared to do (part of his contract).

Of course, bashing the producers etc on radio is not going to help anyones causes, and if his contact states that it's an open termination at any time for any reason, he has no leg to stand on at that point.

Interestingly enough even his dad spoke out against him and his ways in a recent interview.

I'm not sure how these contracts are drawn up, but it won't be the first time a show has been dropped, so I'm reasonably sure they've addressed this many times previously. I was hoping they'd iron out all of this and the show would continue, but I think we've seen the last of this show.

Charlie Sheen has always been unstable at best, so this doesn't come as a huge surprise. :(

He is a good actor though.

Here's how I see it.
This won't be a popular opinion.

Charlie Sheen is a piece of ****.
He is a low rent drug addict who uses his fame to further his obsessions.

Why in hell is he not in jail?
Why in hell are children trusted to his care?

He has cocaine parties at his house. He gets carried out to be detoxed by hospitals but NEVER has to face the police for his actions.

Actions which would put any average citizen in jail.

I don't give a crap if he can act.

He is scum.

He is responsible for his young kids and he is a role model, like it or not, because he is in the public eye.

He has failed on every single count.

Garbage.

Getting a couple of 2 bit porn stars on salary to hang around and act as nanny for the kids does not equal parenting.

They did take them away finally but only after months of this melt down.

You are most likely right as I haven't been paying attention until the scandal with the TV show. Not that I watch the show...

Problem is, the guy is sick.
He needs help in a big way but instead he becomes the latest media side show and who cares how many people he damages along the way.

When he finally does something that ends up killing himself or others the media should be held accountable. They are complicit in his downfall.

After going on Twitter just 24 hours ago, Charlie Sheen now has over 1.1 million followers. You have to give it to him - he is entertaining to watch.

His very first tweet: "Winning!" :D

From Twitter -
Name Charlie Sheen
Bio Born Small... Now Huge... Winning... Bring it..! (unemployed winner...)
Can you imagine how many people would tune in if he did a reality show?

I believe this is supposed to be that he's a "twit-ter"... a Twit is a "stupid person". (UK slang)

So, $10k per TWIT, rather than per TWEET (a reference to twitter).

At least that's how I take it. I don't know anyone paying $10k per tweet, but I'd love Charlie to post about Hands-on -- he's got so much buzz right now, it's an easy mark!
