What's your take on check-in sites?

I am not big on getting myself constantly trackable, but I have recently signed up for Foursquare, because I thought it would actually be cook to know who else is in the neighborhood on your lazy day off. I haven't quite figured it out yet completely, but I think I used it just a few times to check myself in.

Can't say anything more than that. Its an okay tool, but I don't see how it adds any productivity to my day. :)

I used to live in Hawaii and have returned many times to visit, so I'm fascinated to see what's going on there now. I don't use these for productivity, rather for my own amusement.

Not much use for them.
I have a Facebook page that I check about every 3 months or so. That's about it for me.

I caught up with a lot of people on Facebook. Didn't take long to remember why I never kept track of them.

The people who I actually care about are on my list of actually "call when I want to talk".

I haven't tried any of the above, and again am not too fond of being tracked continually ether, although I have and still use Facebook with my iPhone to update my location to friends though only when I'm essentially available.

Though from a business aspect I do have trackers on all business vehicles, much like many other companies to keep track of their speed as well as location.
